I mean, I don't need any like steamy, hot romance in my mystery movies all the time. Like I think this was adequate. Like you had a little a very, very small like D or E plot of that of Ivy and that guy and you know that was all I needed. Speaking of Peter Benson, this was his second, I believe, hallmark movie.
So this next week Eric is going to watch Aurora tea garden tell favorite to us part. You liked it more but I definitely liked it. I think that's a good one. I mean they slid him over to Aurora right after this, so after this kind of probably got shelved and Aurora came about shortly after garage sale. I think that was kind of that next big mystery and so he slid over there and was in all of the Aurora.
To play someone who is kind of silly and soft morick. You know, a more serious thing role is probably looked at more like oh, that is good acting, but to be able to play silly, almost like hijinx-y, credibly, I thought was really good. And then the other thing about this movie that I miss and you see it kind of on some of the older hallmark things were the transitions.
I think this is one where you have more fun the more you watch it, because you can kind of flesh out some of these characters 100% agree. So it says when they try and solve the mystery on the boat, the husband or the wife actually kills the husband while they're out at sea. Were they trying to get the life insurance? Because now this is her second dead husband? You know who the killer is from the start and then you know Mark is trying to figure out how to do it and then he gets poisoned. But they knew he was going to get poisoned so they had, since they're doctors, they had the antidote on the ship.
And when I was looking through some of the IMDB comments after I watched it just to kind of get a feel, I'm like, well, I love this. It had a pretty low rating, like a 5.4, which I'm assuming, and then after reading people's comments, it was exactly as you said. People were confused and I didn't know that she was a lottery winner turn sleuth. You know stuff that I read in that description. I'm like they can have a better job informing us of these characters.
